This is a tier two non-sanctioned UIL law enforcement high school competition, where the top high school law enforcement programs challenge the area explorer programs to law enforcement skills like felony stop, burglary in progress, hostage negotiation, and active shooter.
The school must be invited to compete. The deadline is 27th of March at 5:30 p.m. The cost is 25 dollars per student. |
2019 Border Challenge Criminal Justice High School Competition

The 10th Annual Border Challenge is where top local high school competes for the top three trophy award positions in real world law enforcement scenarios which test their training, teamwork, critical thinking as well as problem solving skills by professional Law Enforcement Agencies from the region.
The objective of this event is to teach the participant the current challenges that the real Law Enforcement Professionals deal in their careers along with the educational and physical requirements. The events are judges by Local, State, and Federal Law Enforcement Agencies who serve as a great role model for these prospective future recruits. This year’s events are:
The fee is $25.00 per student, one teams per event per school which include CSI, and Active Shooter.
The team scores sheets can be downloaded off the web site, http://borderchallenge,weebly.com.
All sponsors are responsible for having wavers and medical forms for each student before competing. All sponsors are responsible for having score sheets for each of their teams with school's names and student's names. All sponsors are responsible for feeding their own students on Friday and setting up command post on April 25, 2020. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams will be awarded with trophy and medals, all events will now be team events to include obstacle course, no individual events.
